There are a lot of misconceptions about what a night cream is. Yes, a night cream is technically a moisturizer that you use at night but many cosmetic companies use the term “night cream” in the name of their products for the sole purpose of assisting consumers with differentiation. However, it is perfectly acceptable to use a moisturizer at night that does not include the word, “night,” in it.
The truth is you can use any moisturizer at night that is compatible with your skin type (see our nine skin types) and one that does not contain sunscreen.
