I Put My Skin to the Ultimate Dehydration Test. Here’s What Happened.

before and after using hydrating serum on dehydrated skin

Two flights + desert air = one very dehydrated face.

Now what exactly is a dehydration test for the skin? According to me, a celebrity expert esthetician, it’s when I exposed my skin to two flights in the same day with the second flight landing in a super dry climate. My skin was as dehydrated as it could possibly get.

The first place I notice it is around my eyes. My skin starts to look crepey, and my fine lines suddenly become much more noticeable.

Take a look at my skin in this photo, this was after TWO airplane flights and landing in the driest climate of Las Vegas! It’s looking shiny, crinkly, and feeling tight. I didn’t just suddenly age, my skin was begging for water.

Luckily, dehydration is easy to fix when you know exactly what to use. I always keep Skin Drink I.V. on hand when traveling.

It’s an electrolyte-infused serum that floods skin cells with deep, lasting hydration using four molecular weights of hyaluronic acid. Which means it reaches every layer of the skin versus just sitting on the surface. It has this super sensorial, water-like texture that absorbs in seconds and leaves behind a smooth-as-glass look.

Plus it’s non-comedogenic, meaning it won’t clog pores so it’s great for acne-prone skin types as well. Because all skin types need water.

Now look at my skin in this photo. I repaired my skin, it totally bounced back and those dehydration lines are looking plumped up. And this is even before I applied my moisturizer!

Something I remind my clients of all the time is not to panic if your skin looks older after a long travel day. More often than not, their skin is just thirsty and dehydration is temporary. With the right routine, skin can recover quickly and look like itself again.
