Get Control Of Cystic Acne Before It Scars Your Skin!

Renee rouleau anti-cyst treatment

Of all the types of acne someone can get, cystic acne is both the most frustrating to treat and can be the most damaging to the skin. Acne cysts can cause scarring because it stretches and damages the surrounding tissue deep within skin leading to indentations and red, dark or purple marks. (Read: How Can I Fade My Acne Scars?)

What is cystic acne? Hard, painful blemishes that develop deep within the skin, often appear on the chin or jawline and can linger for weeks.

Here are solutions for acne cysts:

Do not pick. Despite being sore, you’ll never get that infection out.  If you attempt to, you’ll most certainly have a scar that will linger for months. The rule is: If a whitehead does not form (which they never do if it’s a true cyst) then hands off!

Prevent cysts by cutting out your intake of dairy. When you develop cystic breakouts, specifically on the chin, jaw line and neck area, it might be a sign that you’re getting more dairy in your diet than your body can tolerate. Your skin acts as an excretory system to get rid of things that your body is not in agreement with, so when you eat too much dairy (and since dairy is naturally harder to digest) it comes out in the form of cystic blemishes in the lower area of the face…

The best way to determine if your acne cysts are directly related to your intake of dairy is to completely cut dairy out of your diet for two weeks. If you don’t develop any new cysts and you normally would have by now, then this might solve your problem! It doesn’t mean that you cannot eat any dairy at all.  Slowly introduce dairy back into your diet, and if you start breaking out again, that’s your body’s tolerance level.

Treat the cyst immediately. Dab on Renée Rouleau Anti-Cyst Treatment as soon as the cyst forms and it will dramatically reduce the infection and cut the healing time, at least by half. The longer the cyst has time to develop, the more you’ll increase your chances of scarring the skin. You need to put the fire out—fast!

Apply ice to reduce inflammation. If you don’t have a bottle of our Anti-Cyst Treatment, applying ice to the cyst can help take down swelling to reduce soreness.

Prevent cysts from appearing. Our amazing Anti-Cyst Treatment can also be used to prevent new cysts from forming. When used twice a week on areas prone to cysts, you may find they won’t show up at all! How to use: Perform your regular night time routine and then using a damp tissue, wipe the area clean where you are prone to getting cysts. Apply a thin coat of Anti-Cyst Treatment to the area and let dry. This can be used every night for severe cases (those who get new cysts appearing daily), but if you’re only getting them occasionally (once a week), twice a week should do the trick. If you’re prone to getting them during your cycle, use it three days before.

Optional: Get a cortisone shot. It can certainly work well, but who has the time to wait around at a doctor’s office? Plus, some people can experience injection atrophy, where the skin indents from the cortisone and can take up to 9 months to naturally fill back in.

  1. I know that cysts on the chin and jaw/cheek areas are attributed to dairy, but what about cysts on the forehead and between the eyebrows? I get painful cysts on my forehead and temples.

    • More than likely it’s probably not from dairy, but it still could be. As for other reasons why you get them there, it’s really hard to know. When all else fails, we chalk everything up to changing hormones.

  4. Hi Renee,

I purchased your Anti-Cyst treatment and have been using it as directed for three weeks as of 01/2/2012 and still my cyst is not going away. I apply it in the morning and before I go to bed at night. I do not wear any make-up at all. Is there anything that you can recommend in addition to the Anti-Cyst treatment. I did have this cyst for about 2 weeks before I ordered and received your product. Any additional info would be great! I am 31 and so ready to be done w/ Acne all together! Please help.

    • Hi Shannon,
Since you’ve had the cyst for a while, it’s just going to take longer for your body to reabsorb it back into your system. Do keep applying the Anti-Cyst Treatment because it is helping, just not as fast. Definitely don’t pick at it, which I’m sure you know and be patient. 🙂

  5. Hello. I was wondering if you could give me advice about cysts I have on my nose. Every now and then, one will form and will take weeks and weeks to fade away. I have been using this Anti-Cyst treatment for years with good results. However this year I experienced two cysts on my nose and nothing seemed to help it heal. Is it possible I should be using a different product? Or something in combination? I noticed on the description for the Anti-Cyst treatment that there isn’t any mention of cysts on the nose. I look forward to your advice. Thank you!

    • The skin tissue is different on the nose (the skin is much thinner) and perhaps it’s just not as repsonsive to topical treatments such as Anti-Cyst Treatment. The Anti-Cyst Treatment is certainly your best bet but it just may take longer to respond, but it’s definitely great to use on that area!

  6. Thank you so much for your reply! I have been using your Anti-Cyst treatment for a week. I use it in the morning and at night all over the areas I’m breaking out. I also cut out almost all dairy a little over a week ago. I’m praying this works… praying !

  7. I came across your product on a desperate search to cure my cystic acne. I have a few questions. I have had a facial and have used Proactiv for years. I also use a topical Rx with benzoyl peroxide and Clindamyacin. NOTHING IS WORKING and it is causing me to be depressed. Please help!

    1. My derm told me that only Accutane can cure it. I’m scared of that med as well as trying to conceive so can’t take it. I was wondering if this product will produce similar results with regards to smooth skin.
    2. Is this safe to use while trying to conceive?
    3. By cutting out dairy, does that include things like breads that are made with a little milk?
    4. Is cystic acne hormonal? I am 30 years old and had a baby 8 months ago and wondering if that’s what is causing all this.

Thank you in advance for your help!

    • Hi Lisa,

      1. Accutane is an option but that is a personal decision that you have to make. In my opinion, I feel prescription medication should be the last option.
      2. Our Anti Cyst Treatment is perfectly safe while trying to conceive and can also be used during pregnancy.
      3. Generally with dairy, it’s in the pure form–milk, cheese, yogurt, ice cream, sour cream etc. My suggestion is to try cutting that out for two weeks and see if that makes a difference for you.
      4. Yes, cystic acne is hormonal, for sure. That’s why it’s so difficult to get a handle on it. I really suggest that you purchase the Anti Cyst Treatment. It can be used not only as a spot treatment once you get a cyst, but when used several times a week on the areas that you’re prone to getting them, it can really help PREVENT them, and that’s key.

  9. Excellent tip regarding dairy. I always thought it was either chocolate or soy. I love Soy Chai Lattes and sometimes I overdo the chocolate but dairy is definitely something to look at!

  10. Hi Renee,
My son always gets these huge bumps behind, and on his ears.
    Any idea what they are?

He says they hurt and sometimes have puss coming out.
I know it sounds gross, and it is, but is there something we can do about them?

    Sincerely,
    Ginny

    • It sounds like it’s cystic acne that he is getting and getting them behind the ears is common in boys. They do sometimes come out (the puss) but often times they are sore under the skin and take a while to heal.

I would suggest he use a few drops of our Anti-Cyst Treatment on the general area a few times a week to prevent them AND he can use it as a spot treatment once he feels one coming up. It would work very well for him and a little goes a long way, of the product.
