It’s normal to expect a tingling sensation from products containing the following ingredients. -Salicylic Acid (found in AHA/BHA Cleansing Gel) -Lactic Acid (found in our Anti-Cyst Treatment) -Malic Acid (found in our Triple Berry Smoothing Peel) -Glycolic Acid (found in our Glycolic Acid Serums) -Mandelic Acid (found in our Triple Berry Smoothing Peel) -Tartaric Acid (found in our Triple Berry Smoothing Peel) -Peppermint Oil (found in our Mint Buffing Beads) … -Spearmint Leaf Oil (found in our Luxe Mint Cleansing Gel) -Rosemary Leaf Oil (found in our Rosemary Mint Cleanser) -Menthol -Eucalyptus (found in our Pure Radiance Mask and Daytime Blemish Gel) -Camphor (found in our Night Time Spot Lotion) Anything else, it’s a sign that it’s not compatible with your skin type. What products shouldn’t cause a tingling sensation? -Vitamin C serum (Look for no-sting formulas like our Vitamin C & E Complex) The following ingredients will make the skin tingle and should be avoided in your skin care products. -Synthetic fragrance (the #1 cause of allergic reactions to products. Avoid products containing the word “fragrance” or “parfum” on the ingredient listing) -SD Alcohol 40 or Denatured Alcohol (commonly found in toners. All of the Renée Rouleau toners are alcohol-free) Bottom line: If your skin gets easily irritated, it certainly could be your products. Which products are right for you?
