Learn to Love the Skin You’re In

As an esthetician with 25 years of hands-on experience working with clients helping them achieve healthy and beautiful skin, I know that women can be just so hard on themselves sometimes. Without question, our skin and how we feel about it when we look in the mirror is directly tied to our self esteem. When we feel that we look bad, we then feel bad. When we look good, we feel good. But some women just never give themselves a break. The tiniest little flaws on their skin they see in the magnifying mirror can be make them feel so bad and so they resort to injectables, dermal fillers and other aggressive treatments in an effort to “fix” their skin when really they should work on practicing self acceptance.

My wish for those of you who can relate, is the next time you look in the mirror, say out loud “Hello beautiful” and start to learn to love the skin you’re in! You ARE beautiful!…
