A few weeks back, I had the distinct honor of giving the commencement address to the University of Dallas MBA graduates—and I didn’t even attend college myself.
Hear me talk about my life, my company and my inspirational advice for the graduates.

Thank you to Dean Franklin, Professor Watters and the faculty… and to all of the parents and grandparents…and to you, the University of Dallas graduates. Thank you for letting me share this amazing day with you. My name is Renée Rouleau and I am honored to be with you today.
When I was in High School, my Grandmother gave me a book of quotes. As I thumbed through the book there was one that stood out to me. It was from the 1800’s by the American writer and and philosopher Henry David Thoreau…and he said quite simply…Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you’ve imagined.
This quote has guided me a lot through my life and is largely responsible for why I’m here talking with you all today.
I come the Midwest…and from a family of strong, roll up your sleeves hard-working kind of people.
