I Have Rough, Bumpy Skin on the Back of my Arms. Help!

Having rough, bumpy skin on the back of the arms and thighs (and sometimes on the face) is a condition called Keratosis Polaris, where dead skin cells block up the hair follicles.  While it’s very common and completely harmless, it can be frustrating for those who suffer from it.

What can you do?

Exfoliate! Combining physical exfoliants (facial scrubs) chemical exfoliants (Glycolic acid) will soften and smooth away even the driest, roughest, bumpiest skin.

Here’s an effective way to control Keratosis Polaris on the arms and legs. 

Step 1: In the shower, apply a mild shower gel like our Sea Splash Shower Gel (bar soaps are too drying) to a loofah or our Exfoliating Body Cloth. Scrub the area in circular motions for two minutes.
