My Very Favorite Moisturizer for Winter

My line has over 70 products now and while I adore all of the formulas, my personal winter skin saver is our Hawaiian Nourishing Cream. I’m a skin type #2 (see our nine skin types) so the Sheer Moisture is recommended but in winter my skin needs a bit more hydration.

The moisturizer: This age-defying formula uses a special bio-fermentation technology derived from Red Marine Algae found along the shores of the Hawaiian Islands. Red Marine Algae along with potent vitamins work to dramatically increase skins moisture levels, as well as encourage collagen stimulation to reveal smoother, more youthful-looking skin. Many of our customers compare the anti-aging results to Creme de La Mer, but our formula does not contain mineral oil, parabens, petrolatum, dyes or artificial fragrances an is lighter weight on the skin. It is used in all the Renée Rouleau facials in our Dallas skin care spas

Who it’s for: For anyone with sensitive skin who wants to slow down the visible appearance of aging, yet requires a breathable and hydrating moisturizer that won’t clog the pores or feel greasy on the skin. In addition to anti-aging, this cream is extremely effective in soothing irritation to burns, sunburns, acne, chemical peels and laser treatments.

What’s in it:

Ahnfeltia Concinna Extract (Red Marine Algae) – Used for centuries by inhabitants of the Hawaiian islands as an exceptional hydrator, and has been shown in clinical studies to improve moisturization, increase skins firmness and elasticity, giving long-lasting skin suppleness and comfort.

Ginseng Extract – Revitalizes tired skin to give a youthful glow

Vitamins A, C, & E – Nourishes skin and protects it from the breakdown of premature aging caused by free radical damage

Why you should use it: Because it’s our best-selling moisturizer!
