As any skin care product formulator knows, technology is always changing and advancing for the better, so it’s important to stay up to date so that you’re giving your customers the best that nature and science have to offer. I know that is certainly the mission of my company, Renée Rouleau Skin Care.

I have been extremely busy this last year working with my chemists to re-formulate some existing products, as well as develop new ones. So just to keep all of our loyal product users in the loop, here’s a sneak peek of what’s to come in 2012!

New moisturizer to get your skin glowing: Our brand new Glow Enhancing Cream just launched last week. It is really a great formula, so do check it out…

New and improved gel mask: While I adore our Azulene Gel Mask, it’s time to make it even better. This will be launched with updated ingredients, as well as a new name. It will be even better for calming red, sensitive skin, and also be extremely healing post-laser or post-chemical peel. I’m a huge fan of gel masks and this one will be even more amazing.

New retinol serum: This has been a long time coming, but I’ve finally found the perfect formula that can mimic the results of prescription retinoids without the harsh side effects. You’ll hear a lot of about how and why I came up with this formula when it launches. It will be a great complement to our other powerful anti-aging products like Intensive Firming Serum, Glycolic Serum and our specialty serums.

New lotion for extremely sensitive, acne-prone skin: I discontinued our Stress Recovery Lotion to make way for this new product that you’re sure to love even more. It is oil-free and fragrance-free, yet gives excellent lightweight hydration. Sensitive, acne-prone skin types are sure to love it.

New skin serum for dehydrated, aging skin: Our Skin Drink continues to be a very popular product for dehydrated, oily/combination skin and will certainly stay in the line, but I wanted something else even more hydrating and nourishing for those that lean more to the dry, aging side, but still want something oil-free. This new serum uses Himalayan red rice extract which is a very powerful, high performance anti-aging ingredient.

New SPF moisturizer for normal to dry skin: Our Daily Protection SPF 30 continues to be a best seller for oily, combination, sensitive and acne-prone skin and will definitely stay in the line, but dry skins may need more hydration than what this offers. This new product will be more hydrating and will be a pure mineral-based sunscreen using 20% Zinc Oxide so it will be ideal for sensitive skin.

Along with some new packaging changes and some other product name changes, you’re sure to love what’s to come.

  1. There was no mention of the Blemish Control Cleanser. When will that be made available? Or, has it been discontinued?

  2. We will be launching a new acne cleanser at some point but that’s a way off yet.
