Having nice, straight, pearly-white teeth are what most of us desire, and they certainly play an important role in a more youthful-looking appearance. Whether through braces or other teeth-straightening procedures, professional bleaching or at-home whitening treatments, teeth need tending to, just like skin, and will age your appearance if neglected.

What I have noticed is that far more people will pay attention to their upper teeth than their bottom teeth, figuring they are the most visible.  But did you know that because of gravity and loss of skin tone that starts in the late 50′s, the bottom lip drops with age and bottom teeth eventually become more noticeable than the top?…

I’m sharing this with you as a reminder to be sure to care for your bottom teeth just as much as your top if you want your teeth to look their best in your later years. Just because they may be hidden now, doesn’t mean they will be hidden forever.
I do believe good skin and good teeth go hand in hand in a youthful appearance, so try to remember maintenance is the entire package!
