The skin tissue around the eyes is extremely thin and fragile, so it’s important to treat this wrinkle-prone area gently and avoid unnecessary rubbing. But did you know that you could be causing unnecessary wrinkles around the eyes when trying to remove stubborn mascara—especially waterproof?
The key is to let the eye makeup dissolve so it makes for less rubbing and tugging of the eye area.
When removing eye makeup, saturate cotton pad or Toning Cloth with an oil-free, liquid eye makeup remover. Hold on eyes for 20 seconds to dissolve makeup, then gently wipe away.
Be sure to use an eye cream to keep the delicate skin tissue hydrated and protected…
Bottom line: It’s best to save the use of waterproof mascara for times when you really need it to be waterproof.
