5 Skin Care Tips for Skiing from Renée Rouleau

It’s winter and that means skiing. Before you go, be sure to prepare your skin from the elements with these helpful skin care tips!

1. Did you know that the ski slope is a huge sun reflector? Applying sunscreen generously before hitting the slopes is an absolute must. Be sure to apply at least every two hours because sunscreen breaks down when in contact with direct sunlight…

2. Over sunscreen, I suggest you apply a skin serum that contains Dimethicone or Cyclomethicon. These ingredients provide a protective barrier to prevent irritation, cracking and dryness caused from windburn and the cold temperatures. We love our Equalizing Serum. Just a few drops is all you need.

3. Wear 100% UV-protecting sunglasses to protect your eyes.

4. The lips are prone to drying out in the wind and cold so be sure to use a protective lip balm with sun protection. We love our Vibran C Lip Treatment.

5. Aprés-ski, treat your skin to a calming, hydrating mask to replenish the skin of oils and moisture. We love our Pure Radiance Mask loaded with fourteen luxurious oils to drench the skin in moisture.
