When should you NOT wait 6-8 weeks? If the new products are… - causing redness and irritation (and getting worse) - making your skin excessively dry -making your skin excessively oily - causing acne breakouts that last longer than three weeks -stinging when the products shouldn’t (Read: When is it okay for my skin care products to tingle?) Discontinue use because you are probably using products that aren’t right for your skin type or using products that have low-quality skin care ingredients. Check out our list of ingredients to avoid. As with any skin care product, it should always feel just right. Not harsh, not drying, not greasy, not oily, not heavy. When it works for your skin, you’ll know it.
