mint_buffing_beadsUsing a facial scrub 2-3 times a week can keep the skin healthy, clear and smooth. To keep your routine easy, I suggest using it in the shower in place of your cleansing gel. Every facial scrub contains cleansing agents, so there’s no need to add an extra step in the morning.  However, you can improve effectiveness by using less or more water depending on your skin type.

  • For thin, sensitive skin: Apply to damp skin and massage in circular motions for 30-60 seconds. Rinse well. The water will dilute the facial scrub and make it less aggressive on the skin…
  • For thicker, oilier, less-sensitive skin: Apply to barely damp (almost dry) skin and massage in circular motions for 30-60 seconds. Rinse well. This will allow for a very powerful exfoliation on thicker skins that need it more.
  • For all skin types: It’s important to avoid applying a lot of pressure when massaging the facial scrub over the skin. Let the product work for you, as you don’t want to cause any unnecessary irritation.

Remember; avoid Apricot kernels, or seed/shell powders in your facial scrubs. These are naturally made particles that can scratch and irritate the skin causing bacteria to spread. Look for micro beads or polyethylene granules like in our Mint Buffing Beads and Micro Crystal Cream.
