Chinese! Not only because of the incredible amounts of sodium used, but also the MSG (Monosodium Glutamate) that is still used at many Chinese restaurants. The sodium causes water retention under the eyes resulting in excessive swelling of the eye tissue.
If you are trying to avoid puffiness under the eyes (especially before a special event), it’s best to avoid salty foods at night and drink a lot of water to flush your system.
