skincaretips_beautifulskinSkin Care Tip of the Day: When adults break out, they automatically turn to using harsh acne products to get the acne under control, but in the process, anti-aging is being compromised since drying out the skin causes unhealthy skin. Yet, if someone with break out uses products for anti-aging, they can often be loaded with rich oils which can clog the pores and lead to more acne.

What’s someone with both wrinkles and breakouts to do?

Chemical peels are a great way to start. Professional skin peels in a skin spa or medical spa are extremely beneficial in exfoliating the skin which offers both anti-aging and anti-breakout benefits. The more you exfoliate and rid the skin of surface dry skin cell build up, the less oil and bacteria will be trapped under the skin resulting in less clogged pores. In addition, exfoliation helps to speed up cell turnover which is an absolute must for keeping the skin healthy, smooth and young-looking.

Particularly in the fall after months of dry skin cell build up caused from summer sun, we suggest our Skin Repair Program to rid the skin from summer sun damage as well as reducing acne and wrinkles.

At home, our Triple Berry Smoothing Peel contains five anti-acne, anti-aging enzymes and acids to reveal a smoother, clearer skin.
