Can You Mix and Match Skin Care Lines?

Renee Rouleau's skincare products

I’m often asked “Can I mix and match skin care lines or do I need to use only products from one skin care line?” And my answer is always the same–aabsolutely you can! There are a lot of skin care companies that will disagree with me on this one and say you must use all the same products, but truthfully I think it’s because they want you to ditch your other products and only use theirs. I believe that as long as you’re getting the desired result from whatever product lines you happen to use, customizing your own routine from various lines is perfectly acceptable.

But let me say this, I truly feel that choosing products from the standard dry, normal and oily categories is far too limiting, which is why I created a line based on nine unique skin types. Once you choose your skin type here, your recommended routine gives you a little bit of everything to give your skin the perfect balance. Because my line is so extensive (72 products and many more to come) and there is something for everyone, our clients find that there is no need to go elsewhere. But again, mixing and matching skin care lines is certainly fine.

Most of our clients when they come to us, have been using products from several lines to give their skin everything it needs. We solved that problem by having nine different skin types, so you can actually use just one line of products that will fit your skin perfectly.
