Let’s discuss how to know if fragrances in skin care formulas are causing you problems. If your skin has a rash or dry itchy patches or little red bumps, this could be from the synthetic fragrance. Fragrance does not cause acne, it’s more of a rash-like reaction. But honestly, even if you don’t have reactions, it’s always good to use less synthetic chemicals on the skin. Look at the ingredients on your products and avoid products containing the words parfum, perfume or fragrance. All of the Renée Rouleau skin care products DO NOT contain artificial perfumes! One of our popular products is our Triple Berry Smoothing Peel because not only is it a fabulous at-home professional peel to lighten brown spots and exfoliate the skin, but the smell is divine! It smells like a berry jam—but it’s due to the various types of fruits that are used. *Note: It is not suggested to spread on toast in the morning. We’ve had many clients tempted to do this!
