Through my 20+ years of being an esthetician and working with my clients skin, I’ve heard it all. And one I’ve heard a lot is women feeling like the damage has been done. “I grew up in California and was always at the beach” or “I wish my mother taught me about the importance of caring for my skin from a young age” and the list goes on and on.

But the truth of the matter is it’s never too late. Why? Take smokers, for example. Someone can smoke for 30 years and then quit. When looking at their lungs, they see that over time, the lungs actually start to repair themselves when not being damaged with the smoke inhalation. So the skin is the same. When you no longer are damaging the skin at a cellular level (primarily with UV sun which is the #1 cause of wrinkles) the skin has a chance to rebuild itself…

So there is hope! It’s never too late (or too early) to start caring for your skin. Every bit of effort counts. Make a commitment to your skin (especially reducing sun damage) to ensure beautiful skin for a lifetime. And it all starts with using a great sunscreen like Daily Protection SPF 30.
